For the first time since July 2007, median home sales prices for Southern California are inching upwards. In May, prices were 249k, up from April’s 247K (.8%). This was also the 11th straight month in a row that home sales have increased! That’s music to my ears!
I’m actually noticing some activity in New Home Sales as well. Several projects are actually being kept very busy and starting new phases, as existing phases are being stamped SOLD!
This might not be the “hottest news in town,” but it sure beats the negative news of the past four years in relationship to the housing industry.
Perhaps if you are one of those who have been “sitting on the sidelines” waiting for the market to turn around, you’d best get up, dust yourself off and give me a call so we can you that beautiful home you’ve been patiently waiting for. Prices are great, interest rates are low. Wow…………..what are you waiting for?
